Reading Rewards Stay-At-Home Party
On August 1, 2020, youth aged 4 - 16 participated in a free event with a celebration kit featuring fun activities and participation prizes. This event was held in partnership with the 14th Annual ARISE Detroit! Neighborhoods Day. Deemettes of No. 54 were the largest group of participants.

On March 7, 2020, NIRMV hosted an interactive literacy/reading month event for Rhoesbuds of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. - Rho Sigma Chapter at Detroit Public Library Main Branch.
